Land surveying in the Dominican Republic

Understanding the land means comparing its documents with information from the field. METAGEO provides land and cadastral surveying for property owners, real estate agents, lawyers and developers, with the scope tailored to each assignment.

Measurements, boundaries and setting out

We combine document review and GNSS field measurements to prepare the technical information your project needs.

  • Georeferenced and topographic surveys: information about the location and characteristics of the land.
  • Boundary verification: comparison of the property’s reference features with the available documentation.
  • Setting out: locating parcel vertices and reference points, and controlling elevations, according to the agreed work.

Cadastral boundary demarcation and parcel regularization

We review the available records and define the measurements and technical case file preparation required for the procedure. The scope is established according to the property’s circumstances and the work requested.

If you first need to understand differences between documents, location, area or boundaries, you can request a cadastral diagnostic report. Its findings help guide the next steps.

What a land surveyor needs to prepare a quote

  • Property location: province, municipality and a reference that helps identify it.
  • Your objective: a survey, boundary verification, setting out, cadastral boundary demarcation or review of a specific issue.
  • Approximate area, if known.
  • Certificate of Title, survey plan and other available records.

We use this information to review your inquiry and define the scope, deliverables and fees. If you are missing a document, tell us what you have so we can guide the review.

Can I start with only my Certificate of Title or a survey plan?

Yes. Share the available documents and explain what you need to resolve. We will review which information allows us to proceed and which additional records or work should be included in the proposal.

Can I first check where my parcel is?

The Locate your parcel tool lets you look up a reference location when the cadastral designation has 12 digits. This point does not show the parcel boundaries or confirm its legal status; the surveying work is defined using the documents and measurements your case requires.
